Registration Requirements

In order to be licensed to practice using the titles Professional Dietitian (P.Dt.) / Nutritionist in Nova Scotia, the applicant must complete the following requirements:

1. A Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition from an educational institution accredited by Dietitians of Canada or an equivalent educational background. 

2. A Dietetic practicum that meets the competency standards established by Dietitians of Canada (or equivalent). 

3. Successful completion of the Canadian Dietetic Registration Examination (CDRE).

Full membership  $310 ($155 after September 30)
