Qualifications
To be licensed as a Professional Dietitian (P.Dt.) / Nutritionist in Nova Scotia, the applicant must complete the following requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition from a university accredited by Dietitians of Canada (or equivalent)

A program of practical training that meets the competency standards established by Dietitians of Canada (or equivalent)

Successful completion of the Canadian Dietetic Registration Examination (CDRE).
