About NSDAThe Nova Scotia Dietetic Association (NSDA) is the regulatory body for dietitians and nutritionists in Nova Scotia. The Professional Dietitians Act authorizes NSDA to establish standards of training and practice and govern the activities of the Association for the purpose of public protection.Key responsibilities of NSDA are registration, quality assurance, and when necessary, the discipline of dietitians in Nova Scotia to ensure safe, ethical and competent dietetic practice.There are approximately 450 dietitians and nutritionists registered with NSDA.
